For the last few years, before that even, it has been very clear that glass pool fencing in the Gold Coast homes is the most popular choice of fencing for home swimming facilities.
Here at Quality Glass Solutions, we have convinced thousands of customers that glass is the only way to go for a number of different reasons, and we have never had any complaints about the advice that we have given and work that we have provided.
Of course, when glass is in the picture, one of the biggest things to consider is how to keep it nice and clean. In the glare of the sunny weather, any small blemish will show up! Here are some great tips for how to keep your glass pool fencing clean.
Try to avoid commercial bleach based cleaners if you can, because they have a tendency to leave behind unsightly smudges and smears that you don’t want on your fencing. Also, the bleach abrasiveness can start to watch the glass over time.
Keep things nice and simple, sometimes the easiest solutions are the best ones. All you really need to get the job done is warm soapy water and a microfiber cloth. This method is non-abrasive, and the water can easily be rinsed off with a low pressure hose. You can either leave to air dry or use a squeegee to remove excess.
The key to keep your glass in the best condition is to commit to cleaning it regularly, even before anything gets the chance to build up and become visible.
It will always be easier to maintain when you make the effort to be on top of it at all times throughout the year.
For more stubborn areas that have grown stains etc., a slightly more aggressive but still not abrasive way to address the problem is with a mixture of white vinegar and water. Simply spray this on, leave for a minute and then get to work with a damp microfiber cloth to see the stains vanish.
Hopefully those tips will be able to help you for many years to come, but if you ever need a fresh set of glass pool fencing on the Gold Coast then please don’t hesitate to get in touch with us for a chat about your needs and to receive a reasonable quote.
